Donald Zuziak
Donald Joseph Zuziak, 75, of Gladwin, passed away Aug. 10, 2007 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland.
He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on Jan. 3, 1932 to Joseph and Martha (Malhalik) Zuziak. He retired from Denno’s Furniture in Saginaw as a delivery/truck driver in June 1992.
Donald served his country in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. He has lived in Gladwin County most of his life and was a member of the Gladwin Eagles Aerie 3292 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #11256. He married Doris LeVasseur on Aug. 15, 1992 in Gladwin.
He was previously married to Agnes Wickline, she predeceased him on July 12, 1989.
Donald is survived by his wife, Doris Zuziak of Gladwin; seven children, Barbara (William) Bicknell of Westland, Alan Thomas (Penny Kegly) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Karen (Bill) Loall of Garden City, Donald Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana, Cathline Thomas of Macomb, Robert (Jill) Moen of Caro, and Mary (Phil) Weiss of Frankenmuth; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Maude) Zuziak of Las Vegas, Nevada; and three sisters, JoAnn Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bonnie (Dave) Kelley of Southport, Indiana, and Penny (Ed) Grzenia of Roscommon. His parents; wife, Agnes; sisters, Delores Zuziak and Lorraine O’Deay, preceded him in death.
A memorial service was held Aug. 13, 2007 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Gladwin Eagles Aerie #3292 and the VFW officiated the memorial services.
