Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Wayne YOunglove

   Wayne Joseph Younglove, 62, of Huron, died Aug. 1, 2005. He was born Nov. 15, 1942 in Monroe to Roy Younglove and Theresa Hess. He served in the United States Navy from 1960- 63. On May 30, 1962, he married Naomi “Sue” Moore in Highland Park. He was employed as a millwright for General Motors Power Train in Romulus for 32 years. He retired in 2002. He had also worked as a postal worker in Flat Rock. He was a member of the UAW Local 163, American Legion Post in New Boston, and Flat Rock Sportsman’s Club. He had also been an assistant track coach for Huron High School when his children attended. He very much enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and traveling.

   He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Naomi “Sue” Younglove of New Boston; two sons, Wayne A. (Kim) Younglove of New Boston and Michael (Katie) Younglove of Flat Rock; a daughter, Wendy (Anthony) Balowski of Alaska; two brothers, George Younglove of Flat Rock and Robert Younglove of Carleton; five sisters, Grace Hudson of Dundee, Rosemary Cady of Willow, Judy Belenger of Florida, Ruth Gendron of Florida, and Ellen Raymond of Flat Rock; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Younglove of Adrian Dominicans of Ohio.

   Funeral services were held Aug. 5 at Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Inc. in Flat Rock. Graveside service was under the auspices of the Downriver Veterans Honor Guard. Burial was at Michigan Memorial Park in Huron Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
