Leonard Young
Leonard J. Young, 78, of Gladwin passed away at his home on June 25, 2007.
He was born in Hamtramak, Michigan on Jan. 31, 1929 to Joseph and Helen (Grabowski) Young.
Leonard was a designer for the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in World War II. He has resided in Gladwin County since 1990, previously residing in Southfield.
Leonard married Mary Tomolillo in Detroit on May 2, 1953.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Dale (Marcy) Young and Dennis Young, all of Sedona, Arizona, Douglas Young of Novi, and David (Becky) Young of Queen Creek, Arizona; two daughters, Cynthia (Bernard) Fleming of Elk Grove, California, and Camille (Richard) Fornes of Chandler, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce Dika of West Branch.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his son, Daniel Young.
According to the wishes of the family cremation has taken place Arrangements were made by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
