Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Carol Yost

   Mrs. Carol Ann Yost, 51, of 468 S. Ross St., Beaverton, died suddenly Thursday, April 29, in the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Saginaw on December 12, 1930, she had spent her lifetime in Gladwin County. She was a former librarian at the Beaverton Branch of the county library and was formerly employed by Brown Machine. Mrs. Yost had been a Girl Scout teacher at the Beaverton United Methodist Church. She was also active in several other community activities. The former Carol Wagar, she was married to D. J. Yost on November 19, 1949, in Beaverton.

   Surviving besides her husband are 2 sons, Daniel and Richard of Beaverton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Larry (Deboria) Silver of Bay City and Mrs. Larry (Kay) Cramer of Beaverton; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Jay (Vera) McKimmy of Ludington; her grandmother, Mrs. Queen Glidden of Beaverton; one brother, Donald Wagar of Midland; 2 half-brothers, Charles Wagar of Oregon and William Wagar of Livonia; one half-sister, Orrine Broka of Beaverton and 3 grand-children. Her father Orlen Wagar, preceded her in death.

   Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Henry List officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
