Ruth Yager
Ruth M. Yager, 83, of 110 Knox St., Beaverton, died Sunday, Feb. 3, in W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital Jackson, after a long illness.
Born in Lenawee County May 28, 1901, she spent most of her life in Beaverton. Mrs. Yager retired as a bank teller at the Gladwin County Bank in 1962. She was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are one son, John of Spring Arbor, 2 daughters, Mrs. Patricia Robinson of Jackson and Mrs. Phyllis Causey of Hayward, Calif., one brother, J. Ray McKimmy of Beaverton; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Mike Clark will officiate and burial will be in the Dale Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
