Rolland Yager
Rolland J. Yager, 85, of Beaverton, died Friday, March 23, 2001 at Gladwin Living Centre in Gladwin after a long illness. Born Sept. 13, 1915 in Cadillac, he was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. Rolland married Mable Stillwagon, June 17, 1938 in Beaverton. He was owner/operator of Yager Construction in Beaverton, retiring in 1980. He was a life member of Masonic Lodge #453 in Coleman.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Ron and wife Cathy of Houghton Lake, and Mickey of Beaverton; six grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Blohm of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Ray, Clare, and Fay. Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton, with Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Burial was in Beaverton Cemetery, Beaverton. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
