Herman Wright

   Herman Wright, 78, of Michigan died Jan. 6, 2007 in Tucson, Arizona following a short illness.

   He was born Dec. 4, 1928 in Cache, Oklahoma to Homer and Minnie Lee (Early) Wright He worked at the Fisher Body Plant in Flint, retiring in 1985.

   He has recently resided in Kearny, Arizona during the winter months and in Michigan during the summer months.

   Herman served with the Army in the Korean War He married Kathryn Allen on Dec. 25, 1953 and moved to Michigan. She preceded him in death in January 1998. He then remarried, to Hazel Orem from Kearny, Arizona.

   He enjoyed fishing, taking walks, playing card games, spending time with family and friends, swimming, yard work and taking jeep rides into the mountains in Kearny Herman is survived by two children, Gregory (Judith) Wright, Sr. of Pickford, and Cynthia (Tim) Esiline of Gladwin; four grandchildren, Christopher (Michelle) Wright of Menifee, California, Gregory Wright, Jr. of Sault Ste. Marie, and Tiffany and Thomas Esiline of Gladwin; two greatgrandchildren, Jacey and Ava Wright of Menifee, California; two brothers, Roy (Linda) Miller, Jesse (Laura) Miller of Lawton; seven sisters, Betty Peters, Barbara (Larry) Burk, Lucille Clay, and Mary Fort all of Lawton, Katherine Chance of Cache, Juanita (Howard) Money of Eufaula, Alabama, and Nancy Allen of Duncan; along with several great nieces and nephews across the United States.

   Herman is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Wright, Minnie Lee and Henry Clay Miller; one son, Ricky Clay Wright; three sisters, Neva, Mae and Margaret; and one brother, Woodrow.

   Services will take place Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 in the afternoon at Regal Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flint. Visitation is the same morning at the funeral home.
