Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Cecil E. Wright
Cecil E. Wright, 74, of Vanderbilt, died Saturday, Jan. 22, in the Otsego
Memorial Hospital, Gaylord. Born in Flint on August 31, 1908, he lived there until 1969 when
he moved to Vanderbilt. He was a truck driver for General Motors for 30 years until retiring
in 1969. Mr. Wright and the former Fannie Myers were married October 6, 1937, in Flint. She
preceded him in death March 14, 1978.
Surviving is one brother, Arthur of Sun City West, Ariz. Rites were held today, Wednesday,
at 11 a.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Lindberg officiated and burial was in
the Ridge Cemetery.
