Carlton Wright
SERVICES HELD FOR CARLTON WRIGHT
Carlton T. Wright, 69, died Thursday at his home in Beaverton. Born on March 22, 1896,
he had lived all his life in Beaverton. He was a retired Dow Chemical Company employee. Mr.
Wright was a veteran of World War I, and a member of F.& A. M. Lodge No. 453 and the Beaverton
V.F.W. Post. He was married to Myrtle Asch on June 16, 1961, in Beaverton.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle, a foster son, Lt. Marlin Spencer, U.S. Army; four stepsons,
Gordon Asch, of St. Louis, Mo., Fred Asch Jr., Ironton, Ohio, Doyle Asch Midland and L. C. Asch,
of Springfield, Va.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Gary Morley, of Coleman; one brother, Philip Cronin,
of Flint; and two sisters, Mrs. Dean Geer, of Midland County and Mrs. Rose Lidster, of Beaverton.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Aaron Hyde
officiating. Burial was in Dale Cemetery.
