Brian Lee Wright
Pastor Brian Lee Wright, 57, of Oscoda went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Aug. 29, 2005.
He was born Aug. 22, 1948 to Marjorie (Meyer) and Woodrow Wright in Holt. He is survived by his wife Jene' of 33 years; children, Amy (Peter) Rademaker of Grand Haven, Nathan (Heidi) Wright of Foley, Minnesota, and Joella (Rob) Brydon of Spring Lake; grandsons, Allen, Trevor and Brent Rademaker, Andrew and Matthew Wright; granddaughter, Marissah Brydon; brothers, Phillip (Beckie) Wright of Dimondale and Woodrow (Linda) Wright of Lansing; father, Woodrow Wright of Dimondale; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Rademaker, a brother, Douglas Wright, and his mother.
He was the senior pastor of Oscoda Baptist Church. During his ministry he served churches in Traverse City, Beaverton and Muskegon. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sports and aviation.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005 at the Oscoda Baptist Church at noon. Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiated. The family received friends on Aug. 31 from 4-8 p.m. and Sept. 1. The visitation took place at the Oscoda Baptist Church. Arrangements were by Buresh-Bennett Funeral Homes of Oscoda.
