Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Robert woodworth

   Robert A. Woodworth, 59 of 4850 Eagleson Rd., Gladwin, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, at his home after a short illness with cancer. Born in Ferndale, March 16, 1929, he came to Gladwin County in 1974. Mr. Woodworth was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Southfield. He served 3 enlistments in the service and drove a Gladwin school bus for 6 years. He also delivered Meals on Wheels. Mr. Woodworth and the former Helen Wyatt were married Feb. 5, 1966 in Farmington.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 step-sons, Steven Hubbard of Detroit and Keith Hubbard of Gladwin; one step-daughter, Helen Sanchez of Grayling; one brother, Arthur of Westland; 2 sisters, Ruth Carly of Florida and Mary Lou Curnow of Harrison; and 7 grandchildren.

   Services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Weiis officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery. Graveside services were handled by the Gladwin County VFW Post 7303.
