Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Margaret Woodruff
Margaret R. Woodruff, 80, of McHenry, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2007 at the Plum Grove Nursing Home of Palatine.
She was born in Pontiac on May 3, 1927 to James Noble and Adell Mae (Oliver) Cottrell. Margaret was a song writer, which gave her great pleasure. Her faith gave her comfort. Most of all, she adored her family.
She is survived by her son, Lon M. (Diane) Woodruff; two daughters, Sharmon L. Woodruff and Erica S. Woodruff; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; four sisters, Mural Sampson, Helen Methner, Ola Hildebrand and Marion Snyder-Kelley.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church of Beaverton. Inurnment will follow at Dale Cemetery in Beaverton.
