Larry A. Wood
Larry A. (Tiny) Wood, 44, of 1470 Crest, Gladwin, died Saturday, Jan. 14, at
his home from cancer. Born in Pontiac, Dec. 30, 1944, he moved to Gladwin County in March 1988.
Mr. Wood was a truck driver and served in the armed services in Vietnam. Mr. Wood and the former
Janice Campbell were married March 15, 1974, in Auburn Hills.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Justin and Larry Wood of Gladwin; a step-daughter,
Kimberley Richards of Warren; parents, Harry and Charlotte Wood of Mio and Ina Groves of Pontiac;
6 brothers, Clarence and Lawrence Parr of Prudenville; James Wood of Lake Orion, Steven and Randy
Wood of Pontiac and Ronnie Wood of Mio; one sister, Janice Naramor of Auburn Hills; and a step-sister,
Debbie Whiting of Waterford.
Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m.. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Virgil
Hershberger officiated and burial was in the Ridge Cemetery. Graveside services were by the Gladwin
County VFW Post 7303.
