Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Loraine Wolfe

   Loraine B. Wolfe, 87, of Gladwin passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Loraine was born April 18, 1920 in Sherman Township to Adolph and Augustine (Birkholz) Wolfe.

   She has lived her entire life in Gladwin County and was a member of Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church Loraine loved to do embroidery and baking.

   Surviving are two brothers, Stanley (Eleanor) Wolfe of Gladwin, Gordon (Yvonne) Wolfe of Fondulac, Wisconsin; five sisters, Dolores Ford, Mildred Wolfe, Viola (Larry) Giegler, and Joan (Allen) Rau, all of Gladwin, and Margaret Wolfe of Clearwater, Florida; 10 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews. One brother, Norman Wolfe, and one brother-in-law, Max Ford, predecease Loraine.

   Services were held Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Sisson Funeral Home. Rev Tony Alexander officiated and burial was in Skeels Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church for the sound system.
