Ethel Witkovsky
Ethel O. Witkovsky, 87 of Beaverton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27 1995, at the Gladwin Pines Nursing home. The former Ethel McKimmy died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1995 at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born Sept. 24 1908 in Beaverton, she was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. Mrs. Witkovsky was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren, Farm Bureau, the Gladwin County Gideon Auxiliary and the Coleman P.T.A. She was also a 4-H leader and active with the Beaverton Meals on Wheels program.
The former Ethel McKimmy married Elden Witkovsky Feb. 12 1927 in Beaverton. He preceded her in death July 3 1995.
Surviving are 2 sons, Lowell and wife Delma of Martinsburg, Penn., and William and wife Lovene of Beaverton; 3 daughters, Evelyn and husband Neil Bullerman of Muskegon, Lila and husband Lee Hannahs of Beaverton and Charlene and husband Oscar Anderson of Gladwin; one sister, Florence Rachel Peterson; 13 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Kenneth Golay officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery, Tobacco Township. Arrangements were handled by the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton chapel.
