Harry Wilson
HARRY WILSON
Harry A. Wilson, 63, of 1122 Walnut St., Beaverton, died suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 8, of a heart attack. Born in Hendricks, Minn., on August 20, 1917, he moved to Gladwin County in June from Clawson after owning property here for 13 years.
Mr. Wilson was a retired mechanic for Stark-Hickey Ford in Royal Oak. He was a member of the D.A.V. Leafdale Post 19 in Royal Oak. The Clawson Methodist Church, Billings Senior Citizens Club and was a Boy Scout leader in Clawson. He and the former Margaret Smith were married July 20, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Minn.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Mark of Madison Heights and Glen of Detroit; one brother, Milton of Duluth, Minn.; and one grandson. Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Carter Miller officiated and burial was in the Billings Township Cemetery. .
