Elmer Wilson
Elmer E. Wilson, 82, of 201 E. Grout St., Gladwin, died Wednesday, June 23
at Gladwin Area Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:00
p.m. at Hall Funeral Home Gladwin Chapel, with the Rev. Carl O. Lindberg officiating. Burial was
in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was born May 29, 1894, in Fairview, Ill. He had been a resident
of Gladwin County since 1954, coming here from Illinois. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of
World War I.
Surviving are 2 daughters, and a son, all of Galesburg, Ill.; 3 sisters, including Mrs. Donald
(Henrietta E.) McDowell of Gladwin; 2 brothers; and 5 grandchildr.
