Earl Wilson
Earl Roy Wilson, 69, of 312 Hickory St., Gladwin, died Saturday, June 27,
in St. Luke's Hospital, Saginaw, after a long illness. Born in Owosso Nov. 28, 1917, he came
to Gladwin County in 1953 from Saginaw. Mr. Wilson was a truck driver for Gray Iron Foundry
in Saginaw and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Wilson and the former Mona Cripps were married
May 22, 1937, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 brothers, Wendel and Leon of Saginaw; 3 grandchildren
and one great grandchild. A son, Edward, preceded him in death Aug. 8, 1982. Services were held
Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Wells officiated and burial
was in the McClure Cemetery.
