Myron "Roy" Williams

ATTACK FATAL TO ROY WILLIAMS


  Myron "Roy" Williams, 76, died Sunday of a heart attack at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jennie Vail, in Buckeye Township after several years of ill health. Born on May 29, 1887, he came to Gladwin County from Lapeer County in 1898 and made his home near Bethel. A disabled veteran, Mr. Williams had never married.

  Survivors include two brothers Charles "Fred" Williams, of Flint, and Daniel F., of Vassar; a sister, Mrs. Vail, of Buckeye, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Marie Williams, of Flint. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Miner Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Lathrop Jr. officiating. Burial was in Arbutus Cemetery under the auspices of V.F.W. Post No. 3731 of Gladwin..
