RITES IN CLIO FOR ANDY WILLIAMS


  Evan (Andy) Williams, 48, of All-Bright Shores, died Monday at Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, after a long illness. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, on Dec. 1, 1914, he came to Gladwin County 10 years ago from Mt. Morris. He was employed at Buick Motor Division and was a veteran of World War II, serving as a medical technician.

  His wife, Neva, survives him; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, of Clio; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jean Manor, of Genesee, and Mrs. Loretta Joanne Bower, of Flint; a son, George McMally, of Parma; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Harrison, of Bay City; four brothers, the Rev. Orville Williams, of Yakima, Wash., John, of Arkansas City, Kan., Vernon, of Plymouth, and Robert, of Flint; and nine grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Home in Clio, with the Rev. Floyd Kromton officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. with burial in Billings Cemetery. .
