Andrew Willetts
After a short illness with cancer, Andrew George Willetts, 58, of Beaverton passed away on Aug. 19, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. George was kind and generous and was a loving husband, father and papa. He was born in Detroit on Oct. 29, 1946 to John Ford and Helen (McCormick) Willetts. He was a press operator for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1996 after 30 years. He also owned and operated A & W Carpet Cleaning and worked for Win Stuff L.L.C. He lived in Gladwin County since 1996, having previously resided in Brownstown.
Surviving him are his wife, Dayle Willetts of Beaverton; his daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Eldred of Beaverton; his son, Paul (Laurie) Willetts of Beaverton; two grandchildren, Shane Willetts and Shelby Willetts; his brother, Robert (Beulah) Willetts of Detroit; four sisters, Diane (Don) Rybacki, Lillian (Ted) Armstrong and Helen Gaggin, all of Detroit, and Annette of Arizona; and brothers, Michael and Jimmy. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Glenn; and his sister, Dolores.
Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 21 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin. He will be greatly missed by everyone, especially his family and friends.
