Edith Wilkison
Edith Wilkinson, 93, of Beaverton, Michigan died April 4, 2006 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was born in Beaverton on May 26, 1912. She was a housekeeper at Midland Hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and a member of Beaverton Church of the Brethren.
Surviving her are three daughters, Rose (Merlin) Wooley and Helen VanHorn, both of Beaverton, and Linda Harlen of Palmyra, MO; one son, Nelson Pete (Lola Steele) of Gladwin; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 7 at 11 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with Rev. Mark H. Moore officiating. Burial took place in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. Memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Association.
