William Wilcox
WILLIAM WILCOX ILL A MONTH
William A. Wilcox, 51, of Gladwin, died Saturday, May 23, at the Gladwin Hospital, following
an illness of a month. Born in Grand Blanc, November 3, 1918, Mr. Wilcox served in the U.S. Navy
during World War II. He and the former Miss Lucille Milmine were married March 3, 1946, in Pontiac.
They bought the Gladwin News Agency five years ago and came to Gladwin to make their home.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille; four sons, William C. of Metamora, James A. of California,
Gerald of Flint, and Kym at home; four daughters, Mrs. Sandra Smith of Flint, Mrs. Donna Beavers of
Howell, Gail and Terry, at home; and 11 grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at
the Hall Funeral Home with Raymond Reeder officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
