Muriel White
Muriel V White, 78, of Gladwin passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 23, 2005. She was born on Sept. 30, 1926 in South Wales, Great Britain to the late Hurburt and Annie (Hockins) Williams. She married Joseph White in Gladwin on March 24, 1974 and had lived here since then. She was a member of the Gladwin Baptist Church.
Surviving besides her husband Joe are two sons, Robert (Carolyn) Lucas of Flint, and Michael (Heidi) Lucas of Gladwin; one daughter, Patricia (Kevin) White of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; five grandchildren and one Great grandchild; two brothers, Tudor Williams of Great Britain, and Bernard Williams of Canada; three sisters, Marjory Allen of Flint, Brenda Lavender of Great Britain, and Nancy Thomas of New Zealand. She was predeceased by two brothers.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at the Sisson Funeral Home with pastor David Dee presiding. Burial took place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek.
