George White
RITES HELD FOR GEORGE WHITE
George White, 70, of Beaverton, died Friday, Dec. 6, in the Clare Hospital following an illness of several years. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 28, 1898, he cam to Gladwin County 21 years ago from Toledo. He was employed in highway construction. Mr. White and the former Hazel Cornell of Beaverton, were married on Dec. 24, 1937, in Toledo.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Whitehouse of Beaverton, and Pamala White of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Welsh of Lapeer, and Mrs. Flora Cylke of Chicago Heights; and three grandchildren. Rites were held Monday at 2 p.m. form the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. F. E. Voller officiated and burial was in the Highland Mausoleum.
