Bernard White
RITES HELD FOR BERNARD WHITE
Bernard F. White, 79, of Wiggins Lake, died Saturday in the Clare Hospital after a short
illness. He and his brother, James, were found ill at their home Saturday afternoon by a neighbor
who had gone to check on them, it was reported. They were taken by Gladwin ambulance to Clare
when James is still a patient. Bernard White was born in Sage Township on June 11, 1888, and was
a retired farmer. He was a veteran of World War I and had never married.
His only immediate survivor is his brother James. Rites were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Father George Artman officiated and burial was in Highland
Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
