Robert Wetherbee
ROBERT WETHERBEE
Robert L. (Bud) Wetherbee, 64, of 2025 S. M-30,
Gladwin, died suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1989, in the
Gladwin Area Hospital. Born in Romeo, Oct. 12, 1925,
he moved to Gladwin County in 1982 from Royal Oak. Mr. Weatherbee was employed in sheet metal construction and retired in February 1983. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local 80 in Detroit and served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Weatherbee and the former Jean Barron were married Oct. 17, 1970, in Hazel Park.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Mark
of North Carolina; 3 daughters, Cheryl of Dearborn,
Robin of North Carolina and Sandra of Florida; 2 step-daughters, Gayle Wyatt of Madison Heights and Karen Staley of Interlochen; one brother, James of Saginaw; 2 sisters, Ruth Reibel of Royal Oak and Helen Fitzpatrick of Madison, Wisc.; and 15 grandchildren.
Services were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall
Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Roy Glasgow
officiated and burial was in the Arbutus Cemetery..
