Marlene Weber
Marlene L. Weber, 65, of Gladwin died Jan. 28, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin. She was born May 7, 1939 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania to John and Margaret (Kopacko) Marcinak.
She was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County since 1993, having previously resided in Warren. She married Edward Dirnberger, who died in 1970. On May 18, 1974 she married Alvin Weber in Warren, Michigan. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin, Sugar Springs Memorial Committee, the Happy Wanderers Travel Group, and a volunteer on the Butman Township Fire Association.
Surviving are her husband, Alvin Weber of Gladwin; her children, Edward (Liz) Dirnberger of Shelby Township, Christine (Phil) Guilbault of Macomb, and Cheri (Ken) Redman of South Lyon; her step children, Alice Ann (Alfred) Diebel of Farmington Hills, Alvin G. Weber of Westland, and Wendy Sue (Bruce) Arthur of Waterford; 14 grandchildren and three Great grandchildren; and her mother-in-law, C. Alice Lanphere of Gladwin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service were held on Jan. 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin, with Rev. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
