Don Warren
Don E. Warren, 81, of 2703 Lakeshore Dr., Gladwin, died Sunday, April 9, in
the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Battle Creek on October 31, 1896,
he came to Gladwin County 24 years ago from Flint. Mr. Warren owned and operated Warren Feed
and Seed Store in Flint until retiring. He was a member of the World War I Barracks, Veterans
of Foreign Wars Post 3421 and was a life member of the Genesee Sportsman Club. He and the former
Helen Rouleau were married December 23, 1926, in Flint.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Nancy) Mercier of Flint; 4
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the
Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Gasche officiated and burial was in the Highland
Cemetery.
