Gladys Walters
Gladwy I. Wlaters, 45, of 1100 W. Dale Rd., Beaverton, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, in the Central Michigan Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, after a short illness. Born in Beaverton June 19, 1940, she had spent her lifetime there. She was a member of the Albright Shores Eagles Auxiliary 3655. The former Gladys Blades was married to James H. Walters Dec. 16, 1956, in Beaverton.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 sons, James of Beaverton, Harvey of Orange Park, Fla and Greg of Coleman; 2 daughters, Mrs. Terry (Cindy) Rodabaugh of Gladwin and Michelle, at home; her parents, William and Mildred Blades of Beaverton; one brother, Cecil of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Florence Peterson and Mrs. Wilma Maxwell of Beavertn; and 5 grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Mark Moore officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. An Eagles Auxiliary memorial service was held Friday at 7 p.m.
