Delilah Walters
Delilah M. Walters, 96, of 11006 Dunham Lake Rd., Nester Township, Roscommon County, died Friday, Jan. 10, 1992, in the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center, Gladwin, after a long illness. Born in Sage Township, Aug. 12, 1895, she had spent her lifetime in the area. The former Delilah Bradley, she was married to Daniel Walters on March 2, 1914, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death, Oct. 23, 1982.
Surviving are 3 sons, Zarold and Wayne of Gladwin and Francis of Farwell; 21 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; and 31 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son. Ward and 2 daughters, Betty Jane Klemach and Maxine Carpenter. Services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. Elder Richard Hamilton officiated and burial was in the Butnam Township Cemetery.
