Joesph Walter

   Joseph Lee Walter, 46, of Houston, Texas died Feb. 9, 2007 in Rock Springs, Texas He was born in Bay City on May 17, 1960 to Jimmie and Florence (Weiss) Walter He was a construction worker with Jerry Hicks Construction.

   Joseph previously resided in Bay City.

   Surviving are one son, Joshua Walter of Port Henry, New York; one daughter, Julie Walter of Port Henry, New York, currently stationed in Iraq; his mother, Florence and stepfather, Leo, Hale of Beaverton; brothers, Steven and Christopher Walter of Houston, Texas, and David and Randy Walter of Beaverton; one sister, Katherine Stockton of Omaha, Nebraska; one stepbrother, Eddie Hale of Arizona; one stepsister, Jodi Barnes of Coleman; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents.

   Memorial services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton, Rev Harold Owens officiated Burial was in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery.
