Malva Wallace
Malva Bell Wallace, 93, of Coleman died Monday, March 21, 2005 at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Clare. She was born April 5, 1911 in Harrison. Malva Bell Roland married Hazen Fisher on June 19, 1932 and he died Sept. 18, 1953. She then married Raymond L. Wallace on May 31, 1958, and he died Jan. 16, 1998. Malva was a member of the Coleman VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Gaylord Fisher of Coleman; daughters, Pat (Charles) Long of Coleman, Donna (George) Goodwin of Gladwin, and Merilyn Fisher of Mt. Pleasant; step-son, Frank (Kathryn) Wallace of Saginaw; step-daughters, Sally (Richard) Wietfeldt of Merrill, and Betty Bennett of Hillman; 26 grandchildren, 49 Great grandchildren, and 31 Great great grandchildren; one brother, Dale (Irene) Roland of Lansing; and one sister, Eldora Stark of Lansing. Malva Bell was preceded in death by daughters Deloris Brubaker and Janice Bechtel; son-in-law Ricky Bennett; grandsons James Searfoss, Donald Bennett and Mickiel Renneberg; and three sisters.
A funeral service was held Thursday, March 24 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Jim Young officiating. Burial took place in the Warren Township Cemetery in Coleman.
