Clarence Walker
Clarence Walker, 82, of 5931 Kerswill Rd., Gladwin, died at his home Thursday, Aug. 5. Born in Grout Township on January 18, 1900, he had spent his lifetime here on the same farm. He attended Grout schools and graduated from Gladwin High School in 1925 and from Gladwin County Normal. Mr. Walker taught school in Grout ad farmed. He was a life member of the Gladwin Masonic Lodge 397, F& AM, and the Bay City Consistory. Mr. Walker and the former Sadie Ogg were married June 29, 1927, in Gladwin.
Surviving besides his wife are, 2 sons, William and Bernard of Gladwin; 2 daughters, Mrs. Neal (Theo) Woodruff of Gladwin and Mrs. Charles (Sharron) Dodge of Bellevue; one brother, Clayton of Gladwin; one sister, Mrs. F. L. Olsen of Cambridge, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
