Frank Twork
Frank L. Twork, 73, of Gladwin, died Monday, May 24, at his home of a
self-inflicted pistol shot wound. Born in Poland on Sept. 14, 1892, he came to the United
States in 1893. Mr. Twork moved to Gladwin in 1966 from Pinconning. He was a retired crane
operator for the Sugar Beet Co. Mr. Twork was a veteran of World War I and a member of the
Gladwin World War I Veterans, Barracks 3421. He was married to Lottie Yoesting on Oct. 21,
1963, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four stepsons, Fred Rhimes, of Gladwin, Bernard and
Calvin Yoesting, of Flint and Herman Yoesting, of Saginaw; three brothers, Andy, of Pinconning,
Mike, of Sterling Heights and William, of Detroit; two sisters, Josephine Hulihand, of Dearborn
and Anna Felliser, of Detroit; and 12 step-children, 12 great step-children and one great greant
step-grandchild.
Rites will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Hom. The Rev. Carl Briggs will
officiate and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
