Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Dorothy Turnwald

   Dorothy May Turnwald, 61, of Chesaning, died Sunday, Sept. 9, at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, following a long illness.

   Born in Flint Nov. 19, 1922, she was employed by Sears in Flint for 23 years.

   The former Dorothy Decator, she was married to Theodore Turnwald Jr. June 9, 1972.

   Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Linda) Willford of Gladwin, 5 sons, Dennis Whitehead of Mayville, William Turnwald with the Army in Germany, Theodore, Anthony, Timothy Turnwald, at home; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and 7 grandchildren.

   Rites will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Michael Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Robert Navarre will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, New Lothrop. A Scripture service will be at the church at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
