Arthur Tucker
Died In U.S. Service
Arthur tucker, Son Of James Tucker Of Sherman Twp.
Arthur Tucker, son of James Tucker of Sherman, age 24 years and 3 months, died July 9
at the U.S. Naval hospital on Mare Island, Cal., of cerebal gumnata. He was born in Churabusco,
Indiana. His body was shipped by express from Mare Island July 11, and arrived here Monday noon,
and was taken to Sherman Wednesday. Arthur was one of Sherman township's promising young men, and
entered the U.S. navy April 7, 1906, to serve four years. He was expected home this fail. His
parents are prostrated with grief and have the sympathy of his old friends and neighbors.
