Kenneth F. Tuck
Kenneth F. Tuck, 90, of Clare County passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw after a brief illness. Ken was born Aug. 26, 1915 in Gladwin County to Fred and Della (Copus) Tuck. He married the former Evelyn Mielke on April 22, 1944 in Clare County. Ken lived and farmed most of all his life in Clare County. He was a man who loved life and felt his farming was priority and it showed. He was still actively farming at age 90. Ken loved his family and was extremely proud of his grandson Lee. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; one son, Ken Tuck, Jr. of Farwell; one daughter, Sandy Frye of Gladwin; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three brothers, Howard of Coleman, and Wayne and Gordon, both of Gladwin; and two sisters, Dorothy Mercier of Midland and Velma Tuckerman of Beaverton. Three sisters predecease him.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, March 22 at the Sisson Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
