Stella Tuch
Stella Blanche (Burkacki) Tuch, 92, of Gladwin, passed away May 11 at her home following a long illness.
She was born November 15, 1913 in Riverside, NJ; she is the daughter of Joseph Burkacki and Bertha and Joseph Morowski.
She married Lester Tuch April 29, 1934. He passed away in January 1999. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin. Her family and her grandchildren were her life.
She is survived by her son Daniel (Gwen) Tuch of Gladwin; two brothers, Joseph and Henry Burkacki both of Warren; one sister, Albina Burkacki of Sterling Heights; eight granchildren, Robert (Vicki) Glasgow, Beverly (Kraig) Drouillard, Barb (Mark) Sholy, Debra (Danny) Slone, Lisa (Jim) Kison, Kathleen (Doug) Giese, James (Roxanne) Glasgow and Scott (Peggy) Tuch; 22 Great-grandchildren, four Great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Stella is predeceased by one daughter, Blanche Glasgow; twin Great-grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral mass was Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin. Fr. Steven Killey officiated and burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Gladwin. Memorials may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice. Sisson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
