Robert F. Trumble

(21 MARCH 1922 - 16 DEC 1998)

   Robert F. Trumble, 76, of Beaverton, died a sudden death due to an auto accident Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at the MidMichigan Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1922 in Billings Township, Gladwin County. Robert married Rosemarie Cameron on June 30, 1946, in Beaverton. He worked at the Midland County Road Commission for 29 years as a heavy equipment operator, and retired in 1984. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army in World War II. Mr. Trumble was a lifetime resident of Gladwin. He was a member of the Estey Seventh Day Adventist Church.

   He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Trumble of Beaverton; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lee and Cathie Trumble and Mark S. and Jacqueline Trumble, all of Beaverton; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Steve Knapp of West Branch, Betty Lou and Kenneth Lambert of Gladwin, Sheila Sue and Harold Mills of Angwin, Calif. and Brenda Marie and Casimir Toton of Ellsworth; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Grace McPherson and Ann Simsack, both of Beaverton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leo Trumble.

   Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Edenville. Pastor Daniel Rachor will officiate. Interment will be at the Billings Township Cemetery in Beaverton. Visitation will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from noon until 9 p.m.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church for A.D.R.A. (Adventist Development and Relief Agency)..
