Ralph Truax
Ralph Milton Truax, 72, of Gladwin passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2006 He was born June 4, 1934 in Lapeer to Milton Byron and Dorothea (Clark) Truax Ralph married Omajean N House on Sept. 5, 1964 in Lapeer.
He lived in Lapeer for over 64 years and was a 1954 graduate of Lapeer High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. Ralph was a truck driver for Associated Trucking Lines for 18 years He was a member of the Lapeer Eagles #2427 for 21 years and enjoyed traveling He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Surviving are his wife, Omajean N. Truax of Gladwin; five children, Tommy Welch of Canton, Ohio, Michael Welch of Florida, Vickie (Michael) Dziendziel of Lapeer, Debra (Chester) Kopacz of Gladwin, and Kelly Wetzel of Gladwin; four grandchildren, Kevin Sharp, II, Tami Palaico, Justin Kopacz and Aaron Kopacz; one great-grandchild, Teo Palaico; two brothers, Larry Truax of Brown City and Robert Truax of Lapeer. He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Dorothea Truax; one son, Donald Welch; and siblings, infant brother, Wayne, Keith Truax and Linda Moon.
Cremation has taken place Arrangements were made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer.
