Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Edward Tinney

   Edward A. Tinney, 73, of Beaverton, formerly of Saginaw, passed away suddenly Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at his residence.

   He was born Aug. 3, 1932 in Saginaw and had resided there until moving to Beaverton. He was a member of the Lord of New Life Lutheran Church. He retired from Saginaw Steering Gear, Plant number 2, and after his retirement he was employed at Twin Oak’s Golf Course. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, golfing and going to the casino. He was a member of the Albright Shores F.O.E. Aerie #3065 and served with the U.S. Air Force in Alaska.

   He is survived by his wife of 33 years, the former Bev Wieland; six children, Tracy (Scott) McCallum-Griesmayer of St. Charles, Tyler (Kim) Tinney of Lees Summit, Missouri, Linda Wright of Avon Lake, Ohio, Sherry (Richard) Lemmer of Beaverton, Darren Miller of Sarasota, Florida, and Lorlean (Scott) Stallings of Saginaw; 12 grandchildren: Josh, Zack, Kaleb, Tess, Mike, Megan, Michelle, Whitney, Kody, Kory, Kimberly and Chrissey; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Jack and Sally Tinney, and Shirely Patzwaldt; two brothersin- law and two sist

   Funeral services took place Saturday, Dec. 3 at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc, with Vicar Kurt Eichinger officiating. Interment followed in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin.
