Roberta Thrush
Roberta M. Thrush, 73, of Beaverton passed away Monday, Feb. 27 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw with her family at her bedside. Roberta was born Jan. 14, 1933 in Clawson, Michigan to Watson and Ahava Cutler.
She lived many years in the Beaverton area and worked for the Beaverton Public Schools as a nurse’s aid at the nursing home in Clare and Midland Hospital. Roberta was a strong willed person having to battle her illness many years. Her generosity towards others and her sense of humor will not be forgotten.
Surviving are one son, Jerry (Glad) Scoby of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Linda Ramsey of Napoleon and Sheryl (Vern) Corlew of Beaverton; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Olson of Portland. She is predeceased by one brother, Willard Cutler, and two sisters, Doris Gingerich and Josephine O’Connell.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m.
