Henry George Thompson
HENRY GEORGE THOMPSON
Henry George Thompson, 85, of West Branch, died Monday, June 17, 1996 at Tolfree Memorial Hospital in West Branch. Born Jan. 11, 1911, he resided in West Branch since 1992 when he moved from Shafer, Minn. Mr. Thompson was a retired farmer and a member of the American Legion Post of Lindstrom, Minn.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Dorothy and husband Marvin Morse of West Branch, Janice and husband Marvin Miller of Gladwin, and Sharon and husband Fred Isham of Gladwin; one son, David and wife Frances Thompson of Clio; special friend, Arvilla of West Branch; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many relatives residing in Minnesota. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Rites were held last Wednesday, June 19 from the Steurnol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Pastor Eric Holmgren officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairbolt Children's Hospital in Fairbolt, Minn.
