Ester Thomas
Ester E. Thomas, 90, of Gladwin passed away April 14, 2007 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin after a short illness.
She was born September 24, 1916 in Bowmanville, Michigan to Joseph and Sarah (Rogers) Doan. She was a factory worker at K.S.T. in Ann Arbor She has lived in Gladwin County for 60 years and previously resided in Pickney.
She is survived by her son, David (Jodi) Loar of Howell; brother, Dale Doan of Gladwin; granddaughter, Chris Walblay of Howell; grandson, David Loar or Jackson; 5 greatgrandchildren; special nieces, Clara Fales, Dianna Rickord, and Lori Kennedy; several halfsisters and half-brothers; special nephew, Dale Doan Jr She is predeceased by several relatives.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin with Capt Derek Rose officiating. She was laid to rest at Edwards Twp. Cemetery in West Branch.
