Myrtle Teale

   Myrtle R. Teale, 84, of Clare, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare.

   Myrtle was born the daughter of Homer H. and Frankie Z. (Raymond) Fackler on Sept. 11, 1923 in Beaverton.

   She had been united in marriage to Eugene Warner and after his passing to Ralph Teale. Ralph predeceased her as well. Myrtle had owned and operated Teale’s Country Kitchen in both Loomis and Farwell. She loved to quilt, cook and can. She was a past 4-H leader, a foster parent and a driver for the local Amish community.

   Myrtle is survived by five children, Russell (Gail) of Champion, Homer (Patty) of Gladwin, Garry (Peggy) of Pahrump, Nevada, James (Ellen) and Carolyn (Charles) Kinberg both of Clare; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Teale of Clare. She was predeceased by one daughter, Ruth; her parents; three sisters; and three brothers.

   Services will take place Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Friends may meet with Myrtle’s family Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
