Francis H. Swingle

Francis H. Swingle, 60, of Gladwin, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 1985, at Gladwin Area Hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1925, in Yale, Okla. He married the former Alma Farney on April 14, 1946, in Maunie, Ill. He had lived in Gladwin for 11 years. He was a veteran of World War II.
He leaves his wife, a son, Richard Swingle of Gladwin; a daughter, Connie Finnin of Saginaw; four grandchildren; brothers, Leonard Swingle of Wyoming, Bob Swingle and Bill Swingle of Illinois, and sisters, Betty Gray and Peggy Usery, both of Illinois, and Janet Seamanhorn of Indiana. He was preceded in death by a sister Erma Fechter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sisson Mathew Funeral Home, Gladwin, with the Rev. Burton Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Gladwin. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening and from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
