Marvin Stube
Marvin J. Stube, 92, of Beaverton died Feb. 19, 2007 at Brittany Manor in Midland He was born July 6, 1914 to Joseph and Anna (Knoblock) Stube in Detroit.
Marvin worked in the instrument department at Dow Chemical in Midland. He retired in 1975 after 26 years of service He lived in Gladwin County for 34 years, having previously resided in Midland.
He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Edenville July 15, 1939, Marvin married Eva Western in Port Austin. She predeceased him in 1992.
Surviving are five sons, Tim (Annie) Stube of Beaverton, Doug (Barb) Stube of Beaverton, Steve (Nancy Ann) Stube of Midland, Jon Stube of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Chuck (Barb) Stube of Linwood; one daughter, Gretchen (John) Harper of Midland; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eva; a granddaughter, Becky Stube; and two sisters, Delores Schwanitz and Gen Stube.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 at St Anne Catholic Church in Edenville, with Rev. Fr Raymond Moeggenburg officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church.
