EX-RESIDENT BURIED HERE


  Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Home for Charles E. Stout, 49, of Detroit, who died Thursday at Detroit Memorial Hospital after an illness of 10 months. The Rev. Thurlan Meredith officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. Born in Oklahoma on July 25, 1913, he had lived in Gladwin County for 16 years until 1942. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Armed Forces eight years. Surviving are two foster brothers, Paul and Leo Oakley, of Detroit. .
