Rosella Stoike
Rosella P. Stoike, 78, of Beaverton, died Jan. 25, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin following a long illness. She was born July 31, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Shirley (Sharp) Hamm. She married Arthur Stoike in Fairview Village, Ohio on Aug. 30, 1947; he died in 1995. She was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County most of her life. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin.
Surviving are three children, Arthur II (Penny) Stoike, Randy (Jan) Stoike and Shirley (Steve) Morrison, all of Beaverton; nine grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Pryor of Portsmith, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Sandra Oberlies; two granddaughters, Heather Kintner and Jennifer Grove; and two brothers, William Hamm and James Hamm.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 30 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton with Pastor William Winter officiating. Burial followed at Beaverton Cemetery.
